Though Zafar operates a storefront, the Solana Beach boutique Lilipeach, it is her discerning eye and personalized service that solicit repeat visits. "I travel all around the world to find fabulous designers and high-fashion clothing," says the two-decade veteran of the fashion business. "It is all about cut, textile, quality, and design. Each piece has been made individually." Lilipeach only carries small quantities of each item, and when they're gone, they're gone. While her passport reflects her frequent globetrotting shopping trips - from Argentina to Europe to Thailand - the clothing Zafar carries demonstrates her firsthand knowledge of the female form.
